Each day, we're making it easier for employees to maintain their continuing education records and for employers to track their employees' progress.

Our Recert team is pleased to announce a new assessment remediation feature that provides learners with immediate feedback on each response for assessment attempts. Upon submission, learners receive a report with correct answers highlighted in green and incorrect answers highlighted in red. This immediate feedback helps providers retain knowledge and reduces frustration that can hinder mastery.

All-New Functionality Makes it Easier for Employers and Employees to Apply Completed Recert Course Hours towards Certification

Each day, we're making it easier for employees to maintain their continuing education records and for employers to track their employees' progress.

Our Recert team is pleased to announce some exciting new features that make it easier for employers and employees to apply completed Recert course hours to their certification models:

  1. All existing Recert employees now have the option to grant their employer the ability to apply course hours on their behalf.

When an existing Recert employee views the "Edit Certification" page, they now see an option to "Allow my employer to apply hours on my behalf.” By checking this box, the employee grants their employer the ability to apply course hours on their behalf.

Note: By default, the option is unchecked for existing Employer ID(s). There is an information tip next to the checkbox to ensure employees fully understand the options.

  2. When an employee adds a new  Employer ID to a certification, the "Allow my employer to apply hours on my behalf" checkbox is selected by default.

Note: The employee receives a confirmation message when adding a new Employer ID.

  3. Once an employee has associated their certification with the Employer ID and granted their employer the ability to act on their behalf, the employer is able to apply and unapply hours for completed Recert courses.

Note: The drop-down menu that allows employers to select an employee is filtered by the Certificate ID.

  4. Employees are able to review where their course hours were applied against the certification model by clicking on the information tip next to "Applied Hours" in the "Completed Recert Courses" tab.

Note: As an employer, the same functionality is found on the "Apply Employee Hours" tab for selected employees.

Did You Know?

Each day, we're making it easier for employees to maintain their continuing education records and for employers to track their employees' progress.

This month, we're pleased to announce a significant new feature that allows employees to archive completed models. This new capability will help employees maintain an organized recertification history while they continue to work on their current recertification requirements. The archived models are always available for historical reference when needed.

The new archiving process includes multiple warning messages to ensure employees understand the selections being made:

Did You Know?

Each day, we're making it easier for employees to maintain their continuing education records and for employers to track their employees' progress. Here is a quick list of the latest updates to the Recert platform:

  • Due to popular demand, employer’s custom content can now be delivered and tracked via Recert! To request this exciting new feature, please contact your dedicated Public Safety Specialist

  • Based on customer feedback, the Recert team made an important change that allows learners to automatically receive CAPCE credit for EMS courses that they have successfully completed. This eliminates the need for users to turn on the "Request CAPCE credit" switch within their Certification Model.

  • Calling all employers! Recert will now show you which of your employees have completed an assigned course in one, easy-to-access location. This means you no longer need to visit each employee's Recert plan to keep track of how many employees have completed your assigned course. Check it out for yourself on the "Edit/Assign Recert Course to Employees" page:

Most recently, we enhanced the Recert platform by adding an all-new "Completed Recert Courses" tab. In addition, this update:

  • Allows employees to easily access their CAPCE certificates or their completion cards

  • Places unassigned courses to the top of the list for ready access

  • Keeps users organized by placing courses outside the EMS track—such as the upcoming Fire courses—into an "Other Courses" section

Did You Know?

Each day, we're making it easier for employees to maintain their continuing education records and for employers to track their employees' progress. Here are two all-new platform enhancements that continue these efforts:

  1. Employers are now able to filter their employees' progress.
With new filtering capabilities, employers can choose to filter the progress of their employees by expiration date or completion percentage.

    recert_employerfilter-1-276041-edited.png

  2. Employees are now able to upload and store non-Recert continuing education documentation.
Keeping a complete and accurate track of continuing education progress is not an easy task! That's why Recert allows employees to upload and store documentation for continuing education that they take on their own (outside of Recert).
